Makers of Historical Woodwinds Since 1960
Moeck Rottenburgh Baroque Recorders

Moeck Rottenburgh recorders were designed by Friedrich von Huene after original instruments by the Belgian maker Jean-Hyacinthe Rottenburgh (1672-1756.) They are made in the Hermann Moeck Workshops in Celle, Germany.

These instruments have a rich tone and flawless intonation. They are made of carefully selected hardwoods chosen for their beauty and durability. From hardest to softest, the woods we carry are ebony, rosewood, boxwood, and maple.  The softer woods have a softer, warmer tone, while the harder woods have a brighter, fuller sound with more volume.
