The Mollenhauer Kynsecker recorders are based on originals by Hieronymus Kynsecker (1636-1686) in the German National Museum in Nuremburg, and feature a strong, rich tone and a full two-octave range (except for the bass). If you are looking for a flexible all-purpose consort instrument, compare the Kynsecker with the Kobliczek. The Kynseker instruments have a louder, beefier, and more full sound, while the Kobliczek consort is sweeter and more pure. You can't go wrong with either.
