Jeffery, Sarah: My favourite melodies

Everyone's favorite YouTube recorder star Sarah Jeffrey of Team Recorder has chosen 14 melodies from the Middle Ages to the twenty-first century, most of intermediate difficulty, arranged for oprano or tenor recorder with piano accompaniment. The book includes access to online material: each piece incldes a backing track (variously performed on piano, harpsichord, or harp) and a short video where Sarah chats about the music and offers some practice tips.

Selections include a medieval estampie, traditional Irish and New Zealand tunes, music of Dowland, Purcell, Blavet, Handel, Monti, music by women composer (Clara Schumann & Barbara Heller), and people of color (Joseph Bologne Chevalie de St. George).
